A First hand insight to a day in the life…

When you work with a young person trying to achieve their independence, you work as a team with talented and professional support staff and managers.  Many of the managers that work for sixteen plus started as support workers and understand the difficulties that the support staff face and will always help and support the staff to help them when they face difficult situations, not only in their work but also when struggling with issues in their personal life as I know personally.

During my time working with Sixteen Plus, any issue I have had has been resolved quickly by coordinators and managers.  Even when at times they are busy, they will always find the time to help and talk with their staff to make sure they are happy and that they can have a pleasant time at work.  The coordinators and management team care for the young people in our care, but their care doesn’t stop there, as care for the support staff and all the work they do and will always show their appreciation.

Working for sixteen plus you are supporting young people at the beginning of their journey to being adults, everyone from their own experiences has something to offer to help these young people grow and see their potential.
